Malcolm gained a Diploma with Honours in Architecture and is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Institute of Historic Building Conservation. He is the founding director of the Group, taking overall responsibility for managing the business.
He advises clients on development strategies, planning and heritage issues, and public consultations. He directs the consulting team in preparing design briefs, site appraisals, viability studies, heritage impact assessments and evidence in support of planning applications and appeals.
Volkan gained his architectural qualification in Turkey and remains on the register of the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects. He gained a Master’s Degree in Design and Manufacture at De Montfort University and pursued a career in the UK, joining the Group in 2001.
He has experience in designing residential, commercial and education projects and his current role is to lead the housing and ‘mixed use’ team in master-planning large scale residential layouts, developing the design of dwellings, and overseeing the production of technical information for construction.
Richard has a degree in Fine Art, a First Class Honours Degree in Architecture and a Post Graduate Diploma with Honours in Architecture. He is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
Richard joined the Group in 2001 and specialises in integrating new development into sensitive locations, including edge of settlement sites, conservation areas and the settings of listed buildings. His design and planning skills are underwritten by his technical knowledge in both new build and restoration projects.
