Police Station, Tipton

The new sector police station has been designed as a response to modern policing methods with emphasis on public accessibility, quality of working environment and security for visitors and staff.

The facilities have a dedicated reception, lift and staircase leading to interview and community rooms used by the public. Separate access is provided to secure areas, including offices, staff rest and changing rooms. The external appearance and layout are designed to achieve a compromise between the need to provide a secure external envelope and the objectives of creating a visitor-friendly and flexible building.
